When we mess up we sink. A pontoon picks us up and carries us to Hot Snowmobile Aunt Like A Normal Aunt Only Cooler Vintage Retro Shirt shore. We can get the engine running again in about 10 minutes. As someone new to dual sport motorcycling and thinking about deep water crossings and large puddle bails, how do you keep water from entering the airbox if you sink? In my case, I am not using a stock airbox. I built my own “air box” to pull air from slightly left of my steering post, it comes straight out of the carb intake. You can see it as the yellow part coming from under my hood. The more important part is when you sink to kill the engine before it can take on any water, which is why we always use tethers.

Thanks. This is Hot Snowmobile Aunt Like A Normal Aunt Only Cooler Vintage Retro Shirt even cooler than the dirt bikes I see going across the water in Nitro Circus videos. Is there a float to close the intake when it goes underwater? Or is the engine tricked out not to get damaged from the hydro lock? We use a tether like on a boat or jetski, you pull and it kills the engine. The sleds take a second or 2 to sink which gives it time to shut down… sort of. This is my question. My guess is its kind of like skipping a rock and they’d sink if they stopped moving.
