She is our first pitty puppy. Our last pitty was a 4 yr old rescue from 3 abusive homes. I can’t wait to teach this little girl all the joys of being our baby that the last one got to do. Oh absolutely. Our BudBud, he was 14 when we put him down last November. We had to teach him how to be a dog and what love could mean. He had homes where they did love him but didn’t have the know-how or patience to do right by him. He was a special guy. We love him dearly. They really are. Now she’s healthy and loving and a little goofball. Such a resilient breed. I have three, would have more if I could financially and physically. I adopted my first ~and oldest~ 7.5yrs ago, and Gideon is my heart. A year later, Maggie, she’s the clown of the bunch. And then 6mths later I adopted Josie, she’s my soul. Josie was the only true puppy I adopted, the others were older, though still under a year. This picture of Luna reminds me of her then….she’s blue/white, and was so precious and adorable as a puppy {still is}.
