I tried to Funny Baseball Resting Pitch Face Shirt break from all 1st-person using the human’s perspective, which cuts down on my ability to try and inject humor (you’re welcome) but should make for a more complete story. I didn’t think I was up to portraying any of the aliens via 1st-person, I hope my attempts at narrating for the aliens weren’t too clumsy. Anyway, this was a ton of fun to write, so I hope you have at least a little fun reading it. I appreciate you all taking the time to do it. This is already one of my top stories to follow, I can’t wait for more. I love all the descriptions of various alien anatomy, it really helps make the Arena feel huge.

I’m glad you appreciate it, I’m really trying to Funny Baseball Resting Pitch Face Shirt do justice to non-humanoid shapes. I’ve been shamelessly co-opting terminology for arthropods and other weird-looking Earth-life to try and evoke how different it all is, but there’s no way of knowing how it will land with readers. The shapes of the different aliens are coming across in the best way. You don’t waste time saying “so and so is an x of y dimensions and z limbs, which resemble tentacles”, and instead you’ve woven it into the story of someone leaping using “insert limbs here”. It reads VERY well because of how you’re writing, so awesome job.
