Hey so here’s what I’ve done on mine, and have yet to have any midsole cracking. I take very high grit sandpaper and sand down the entire midsole.

This takes off the Awesome Baby Yoda Face Mask Hug Gatorade Shirt top layer and allows the paint to bind to the midsole better. You don’t want to be taking much off, just the very top layer so it’ll stick better. Then it’s all about super thin coats. I like to take masking tape and Exacto knife and take off the uppers/outsole so ONLY the midsole is showing. Then I’ll go in and hit it with wide strokes to distribute the paint across a large area, so the paint is laid down very thin. Give it enough coats till it’s pure white. It’s also important to make sure one layer is dry before the next. Using a heat gun/hairdryer can help with that. It still may chip or crack eventually but I’ve done that with my customs and they’ve held up pretty well so far
